The renovated home of the Greek national poet Dionysios Solomos .The museum contains his office, personal belongings and a collection of photographs related to his life and work. There is a rich library dedicated to Solomos as well as portraits of him and other representatives of the “Ionian School”.

The beautiful world of the deep sea. The museum includes many impressive and rare species from most of the world’s seas and features one of the largest and most complete shell collections in Europe.
It contains shells, fossils, sponges, corals, stuffed fish, sharks and shark teeth, lobsters, crabs, sea urchins, snakes and much more from the Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well as from the Mediterranean Sea.
