Small, covered with sand and gravel and crystal clear waters, Benitses beach is located in front of the homonymous famous tourist resort on the eastern coast of the island. The beach has been awarded with a blue flag by the European Union, is organized and offers a variety of water sports.

Agios Ioannis in Peristeres Beach
The beach of Agios Ioannis in Peristeres extends in front of the homonymous seaside settlement in the eastern part of the island. It is a long beach, with small pebbles and dark sand, but in some parts it is very narrow. In this area there are many rocky sections outside and through the water, which you can explore with your sea mask.
Many parts of Agios Ioannis beach are organized, while a significant part of it is occupied by the private beaches of the hotels.
At some point, a wooden platform has been created on which umbrellas and sunbeds have been placed. In some places water sports are offered. This beach is preferred by those staying in nearby hotels, but also by locals who choose it mainly in its quiet, unorganized spots. Kaiser Bridge
Architectural masterpiece, although one of the most “unknown” sights of Corfu, the Kaiser Bridge is located under the estate of Achilles, two kilometers north of the tourist resort of Benitses on the island. It is essentially an “arm” that seems to float in the water, made with a special style and technique.
The creator of the Kaiser Bridge was exactly based on its name is: Kaiser William II, the German emperor, on whose property Achilleon passed after the Austrian Empress Sissy. William wanted to have direct access to the sea and the Kaiser Bridge ensured it, while providing him with the necessary isolation from prying eyes.
The Kaiser Bridge was built in the early 20th century, but it is preserved in very good condition, although its arc is now “cut in two” for the modern coastal road to pass. At the point where the beautiful Kaiser Bridge has been standing for more than a century, one can observe a remnant of the pier that William had built to dock the boats that were landing his high guests.
There is also a short beach with relatively shallow waters where you will meet families with children to swim.
