Agios Georgios of Pagoi is not a traditional village, but a settlement created in recent years due to tourism on the previously deserted beach.
It is inhabited by only 140 local residents who come mainly from the neighboring villages Afionas, Armenades, Prinilas and Pagoi.
The beach
A vast sandy beach in northwest Corfu is the beach of Agios Georgios ofP Pagoi which includes the entire bay south of Cape Porto Timoni.

Agios Georgios of Pagoi
Agios Georgios of Pagoi is a popular destination mainly for family holidays. Families with children prefer the southern part of the bay where the waters are very shallow, unlike the northern part where they become deep.
